Come July the debt will be $8,000 ( not $4,000) per constituent on the Sunshine Coast incurred by the existing incumbents to be paid back

When the ( 5th) new council building comes to be paid for

I counsel merging Noosa and Maroochydore who will be the main beneficiaries of the new airport runway and let them pay for it

Cancel the new Maroochydore Council buildings

Split Caloundra from Maroochydore

No more debt

Fake News ( Hacks) International would have you believe our incumbent professional politician Peter Cox would make a good disaster recovery agent please see recent picy Unity Water Currimundi Lake sign

On top of causing $8,000 debt per constitiuent over the last eight years ( $1,000 pa) I predict this will rise to $12,000 based on past preformance by the time he is again stood down and hopefully kicked out of office

I wonder when and how we're next going to start being harassed by Councillor Cox - as a ratepayer domestically!?

At around 5:10AM Saturday the 28/3/20 I was driving down Sugarbag Road to 58A Queen Street Polling booth when I saw a driver and his accomplice interfering with my signs and throw them over a fence and or put them in the back of their car - it is a criminal offence for a party worker or candidate to do so to another candidate's election material

Driving past I was unable to obtain the vehicle rego but recognised the same dark coloured / grey 4wd and Mr Cox and his son who I later encountered in the car park at Kawana state high school

When Mr Cox objected to where I was erecting my corflute sign at the entrance of the car park saying 'it was too close to his' I identified Mr Cox and who I believe was his son in the car he was driving as the people I had seen earlier

When I challenged him about interfering with my signs Mr Cox became aggressive and started shouting at me from across the car park and became abusive and actually breached the 1.5 metre conavirus 'social distancing' then in force

I received numerous other complaints from another candidate who had experienced similar interference to his signs although he was not able to identify the culprits only that there were 3 active candidates in Division 3 and every time interference was experienced there were no other suspects likely to have done so

As an elected representative this is not acceptable behaviour

Nor is this the behaviour to be expected from an elected representative on the Sunshine Coast Regional Council - or perhaps it is

I am raising the matter with Councillor Mayor Jamieson as a matter of priority
